Hello all,

picked up the watch this morning from the engravers, it is exactly what i wanted! i can only hope my husband will love it to!
i could have killed him though,as the surprise is effectively ruined... the little brown envelope i was given with the watch inside had the words ¨watch¨ and ¨Hannah Rose¨...and of course my husband found the envelope (although thankfully not the watch!!) so he put two and two together and guessed what it was.... oh dear! well, the watch is part of a box set anyway so he hasnt guessed the rest...or the Dalek sweets!

Went out with Nicole and her baby and my cousin-in-law Nayara and my husband to the health clinic as Nicoles little boy was thowing up his food this morning, so they got him some medicine and he was fit to go. After, we went to get my husband his paycheck from Group 5 security. All the time my husband was holding the little baby and the little one fell asleep in his arms! It was so adorable! The little one hates his head being covered with the hood and having his mittens on so we took the opportunity whilst he was sleeping to cover him up from the cold.

After that, we went out for hot chocolates and Nicole being the odd one out had a coffee. I was smart by ordering my hot chocolate with cream as the cream makes the hot chocolate cooler and you can drink it straight away, whilst the two that were ordered without cream stayed piping hot and couldnt be drank without waiting for it to cool....
Was reading Nayaras Glamour Magazine with my hot chocolate while everyone else read newspapers,and according to a survey more women would rather have a man with a long thin pencil-like penis than a short thick mushroom.... was was quite surprising...even the magazine editors said they thought more women would choose short and stumpy but were mistaken.... well,well! it reminded me of another survey stating most women dislike foreplay and wish their partners would just get on with it... who are these women??? and what kind of foreplay have they had?? on second thoughts, lets not go into that, this isnt a porno blog  after all....

Etch a Sketch Clock.....

This unique Etch-A-Sketch clock, based on Scott Ferguson's CNC EAS and the Arduino platform, uses stepper motors to power the device, which is then connected to a laptop for drawing purposes. Best of all, the device erases itself each and every minute. Though we'd like to see the ability to draw portraits, its time displaying function is more than enough to get us through the work day.

Staff believe that the octopus called Otto had been annoyed by the bright light shining into his aquarium and had discovered he could extinguish it by climbing onto the rim of his tank and squirting a jet of water in its direction.

The short-circuit had baffled electricians as well as staff at the Sea Star Aquarium in Coburg, Germany, who decided to take shifts sleeping on the floor to find out what caused the mysterious blackouts.

A spokesman said: "It was a serious matter because it shorted the electricity supply to the whole aquarium that threatened the lives of the other animals when water pumps ceased to work.

"It was on the third night that we found out that the octopus Otto was responsible for the chaos.

"We knew that he was bored as the aquarium is closed for winter, and at two feet, seven inches Otto had discovered he was big enough to swing onto the edge of his tank and shoot out the 2000 Watt spot light above him with a carefully directed jet of water."

Director Elfriede Kummer who witnessed the act said: "We've put the light a bit higher now so he shouldn't be able to reach it. But Otto is constantly craving for attention and always comes up with new stunts so we have realised we will have to keep more careful eye on him - and also perhaps give him a few more toys to play with.

"Once we saw him juggling the hermit crabs in his tank, another time he threw stones against the glass damaging it. And from time to time he completely re-arranges his tank to make it suit his own taste better - much to the distress of his fellow tank inhabitants."

well its november once again. my otherhalf returns from his asbestos course in Manchester tomorrow which im very happy about!
i was invited to a relativeś birthday party but i dont feel like going to it so i decided not to go in the end.
i got a new laptop recently, an Eee Pc,which runs Linux. i love it to pieces! i got it as an early christmas present from my other half in pink... like in the pic below....

in other news, im 5months pregnant at the moment with my first child (a daughter). as much as i am ecxited about the new arrival i am also worried how ready i will be to take of her, and how well i can take the job of being a mother. well, only time will tell! i have started eating meat again for the pregnancy so i can give the baby everything she needs. shes been kicking a lot recently and shes a very healthy active baby already so i must be doing something right. her due date is March 10th, whih is only 8 days after my own birthday. perhaps she might be born on my birthday,March 2nd! that will be a turn up for the books!
